Day Five

:) :) :)

I met with the Country Club this morning to go over some last minute details, and to figure out how the centerpieces look on their tables...and...THEY ARE SO PERFECT!! I was hesitant about them for a bit, but after seeing them on the tables I'm so excited! Can you tell haha?? Everytime I go there I remember just how beautiful it is and how perfect it will be for our wedding.

So, checking that off my list of wedding things to do. The next things I need to look to are getting my ma's dress, finding a second hairstylist for the bridemaids, deciding what engagement photos we want prints of, planning the save the dates, and well...relaxing! I am enjoying this wedding planning too much.

Otherwise, today I also went to lunch with two of my girlfriends; it was so great to catch up with them! And I am FINALLY going out tonight; frontier fiesta and some bar that has dueling pianos. I'm kind of excited, but so tired just thinking about it. I need to get out more...

Day Four

Tomorrow I'm meeting with the country club to discuss whether or not the centerpieces my mom and I have created are acceptable for our reception. And, of course, I was browsing online and saw another AMAZING idea for non-floral centerpieces. Now, I want to add them to it! I'll post a picture of the idea (found on one of the blogs I love), and then tomorrow morning I'll add my centerpiece pictures to it, and decide. Hopefully I'll have some suggestions, but I might have to go to the Wedding911 app from the Knot for that one.

Day Three

While I slept, I did the oddest thing. I'm not normally an active sleeper, I do talk occasionally, but movement isn't generally my thing.  Last night, I conquered a mugger in my dream; in real life, I kicked a wall, and then proceeded to wake up in extreme pain. For a second I couldn't figure out what happened until I noticed my roommate had woken up, too. So I put two and two together, and discovered I actually did kick the wall. I now have a broken toe.

Who does that??? Really?

Otherwise, my conquest today is to be super-proactive with my schooling. I'm going to find online summer school for the 2 hours of  math I still need (which makes no sense because a class is 3 hours....how did I miss 2?), and get ahead on my other project for studio.

In wedding news, the deposit was put down for flowers today, and my ma and I are setting up a second meeting with the reception hall to discuss the centerpieces we've purchased (12 tables worth for 200$ at hobby lobby!) and whether they will work. Exciting!

Side note: if the Knot application on my iTouch doesn't start working normally again, and the ridiculous fake posts don't stop anytime soon, I'm just going to delete it. I can't risk someone stealing my identity just because of a strike on the moderators' part!
